Xarelto Lawsuits

Many of the first lawsuits filed claim that Janssen Pharmaceutical, the makers of the drug failed and Bayer Healthcare, the marketers of the drug, failed to warn the public and the medical community of the bleeding risks of Xarelto. This led to many people who took the drug Xarelto to suffer horrible injuries, including:

  • Uncontrolled Internal Bleeding
  • Blood Clots
  • Stroke
  • Bleeding in the brain
  • Hematoma (a mass in the blood)
  • Uncontrolled, unstoppable bleeding after an accident
  • Death

While the lawsuit is in it's early stages, time is limited to file a claim. If you or a loved one suffered a bleeding event while on Xarelto, you may have a lawsuit. Please call us at 888-621-2471 or fill out the form above for a free case review. There are no fees for your first call and no fees whatsoever unless your case is won.

What Is Xarelto?

Xarelto, an anticoagulant (blood thinner), started being sold to the public in 2011 as an alternative to the commonly prescribed drug warfarin (Coumadin). It was marketed as safe and more convenient than warfarin. Unlike Warfarin, which has an antidote that can stop excessive bleeding, Xarelto has no such antidote or reversal agent. This led to injuries where people had internal bleeding, with no way to stop it. Lawsuits filed claim that this was not disclosed and as a result, peoples lives have been irreparably damaged and are entitled to compensation.
